Experience world class local, national, and international artists in the Theater, spanning genres including global music, contemporary dance, theater, and more. At the Commons Stage, discover informal performances, jazz at sunset, lunchtime talks, film screenings, watch parties, sports broadcasts, and community events.

585 Arts is built from the ground up by a wide diversity of stakeholders to ensure a sense of belonging and inclusion that will make the center a welcoming space for all.
Partnerships with local nonprofits
Global Arts Live, a nonprofit organization with over 33 years of experience presenting culturally diverse music and dance from all over the world, will anchor the programming for 100 nights a year. 585 Arts will offer space to regional artists and nonprofit organizations to present theater, spoken word, film and other genres. Creative process and new works will be supported by commissions and residencies.

We believe that equity and access begin with affordability. Subsidized rentals and residencies with full production support will be offered to area artists and nonprofit organizations, and 25 rentals a year will be offered to community groups free of charge.
Youth internship program
585 Arts will open its state-of-the-art production facilities for youth mentoring and workforce development with a paid internship program in theater arts offered by professional staff for local high school students.
